ACUMEN FUND

Impressed by the potential ACUMEN FUND have in creating emerging leaders that can impact social development we are pleased to do Pro Bono PR for them.

Here's why!
Acumen Fund is a global social venture capital fund that invests seed capital in businesses committed to improving life for people at the base of the economic pyramid (BoP). The Acumen Fund aims to create a world beyond poverty by investing in social enterprises, emerging leaders and breakthrough ideas.

It was founded in April 2001 with seed capital from the Rockefeller Foundation, Cisco Systems Foundation and three individual philanthropists.

The East African Fellows Program is creating a unique opportunity for East Africans to receive world-class business training, leadership development and mentorship. Other benefits of the program include:
. High quality training in leadership in social development from influential leaders across sectors.
. The tools necessary to accelerate projects with large social impact.
. Access to a network of African and global leaders who are developing innovative solutions to poverty.
. The opportunity to build the communication and execution skills necessary to create lasting change.
. The chance to design and participate in a regional trip.

Exclamation Marketing believes in the use of entrepreneurial approaches to resolve the problems of global poverty. We support Acumen by advising them on how to:
. Highlight the positive outcomes of joining or supporting their Fellowship Programs
. Increase diffusion of Acumen Fund ethos
. Enhancing the scope of Acumen Fund programs
